David Kuijper
David Kuijper works as Adviser on Financing for Development in the Development Finance Vice- Presidency (DFi). He joined DFi in 2013 and initially worked on the World Bank’s trust fund reform. Before he joined the World Bank Group he was Deputy Director Environment, Climate, Water and Energy in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. Prior to this position, he served as Deputy Ambassador of the Netherlands to Pakistan. From 2006 to 2010, he was the Senior Advisor to the Netherlands Executive Director in the World Bank Board. He lived and worked in Ghana between 2001 and 2006, heading, a.o. responsibilities, the Development Cooperation program at the Netherlands Embassy in Accra. He holds a Master degree in political science and public administration from the Free University Amsterdam and a M. Econ Sc. from University College Dublin.
