Байер Елена Михайловна

Mrs. Beier is internationally recognized expert in Intellectual Property Law. She is the founder and managing partner of “Beier & Partners” law firm and has 20 years of experience practicing intellectual property and business law internationally. In 2002 Mrs. Beier graduated from the Faculty of Law of the St. Petersburg State University, in 2004 received a Master's degree in EU contract law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Kiel (Germany), in 2004 completed internship at the EU Parliament in Brussels. In 2013 Mrs. Beier became one of the authors of the Amendments Recommendations to the US and Russian law in the frameworks of the US-Russia Presidential Commission (Innovations Working Group) initiated by the Department of State and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. In 2014 Ms. Beier was elected Vice Chair of the Eurasia Committee and New Media and Content Innovation Committee, Section of International law of the American Bar Association Since 2018 Elena is the invited expert at Skolkovo Competence Center for Regulation of the Digital Economy. Mrs. Beier is also a lecturer on International Business Law and Intellectual Property Law and author of multiple articles on US-Russian IP Law. Since 2012 Mrs. Beier teaches International Business Law within the framework of EU master's programs organized by the US-Italy Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Philadelphia (USA). In 2015 was a visiting Lecturer on Russian Law at Lewis University in Rome (Italy). Since 2019 Ms. Beier teaches International Business law, International Contract law and several courses on Intellectual property Law at the St. Petersburg State University and Skolkovo Moscow School of Management.
