Apostolos Panagiotopoulos

Apostolos Panagiotopoulos is a Senior Financial Sector Expert in the Financial Sector Assessment and Policy Division in the IMF. His role focuses on climate risk analysis and stress test modelling. Before joining the IMF in 2020, he has been working for ten years in the Bank of England, where his role focused on stress test modeling for macroprudential policy making. He is a Greek and British national and he holds a bachelor degree from Athens University of Economics and Research, a masters from the University of Southampton and a PhD from the University of Nottingham.
