Alex Coad is a Professor at Waseda Business School (Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan). Alex has published over 90 articles in international peer-reviewed journals. Alex is an Editor at the scientific journals 'Research Policy' and 'Small Business Economics'. Previously Alex obtained a PhD from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, Italy. Alex also held academic positions in Germany, Denmark, the UK, and Peru, as well as being an Economic Analyst at the European Commission.
