Ahmer Baloch

Ahmer Baloch is a PhD candidate in the Sustainable Energy program at the College of Science and Engineering at Hamad Bin Khalifa University in Qatar. His research interests revolve around technical and economic assessment of solar energy technologies. For his doctoral thesis, he is working on the feasibility of bifacial photovoltaics and its implementation in hot desert environments. He is the recipient of the 2017 Best Post Graduate Student Award in Qatar. Ahmer was awarded the prize for best scientific presentation at SSC in 2015 for his work on photovoltaics. He is currently an author of several conference and journal publications in the field of solar energy.
