Adam Yukelson

Adam is an action researcher, writer, and educator based in Cambridge, MA. In his work with the Presencing Institute he equips change-makers with a framework and methods to reinvent the larger eco-systems in which they operate, and helps them reflect on, capture, and share what they learn with others.
He is currently helping to design a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) with Otto Scharmer (to be launched Fall 2014), and also writes and edits stories from the field for the Presencing Institute website. In a research capacity, Adam has served as the learning historian for the Global Wellbeing and GNH Lab, the World Bank Collective Action Platform, and the 50-in-10 initiative (in partnership with the Sustainable Food Lab). In 2013, Adam conducted research in India, Indonesia, Bhutan, and Europe, to understand how Theory U is applied to the transformation of business, society, and self. These stories will be published in a forthcoming Presencing Fieldbook.
Previously, Adam supported Otto Scharmer and Katrin Kaeufer with the research and writing of their latest book, Leading From the Emerging Future: From Ego-System to Eco-System Economies.
Adam holds a Master’s in Sustainability Management from Columbia University.
