How to draw a face: Digital (Skillshare)
In this class I am taking a deeper look into how I create faces. I will also be painting this face from more of an angle than the previous class. Today I will be using a Wacom Cintiq 27 QHD and Corel Painter 2018. In this video I will focus more on shadowing and blending.

You could either start from scratch or use the files I've provided to start where you desire. You will however be required to paint it yourself using my lesson.

For this project you're going to want to follow the class outline I've made. This will help you practice along with me. I would start by doing this before you watch the videos actually.

1. Rough Outline- This class is going to be a bit more involved and for more advance or intermediate users of digital art. I have also provided the groundwork for this lesson if you struggle with drawing the layout.

2. Final Outline- You can do your own or you can download what I've provided. You are welcome to add or change the drawing as much as you please.

3. Block Colors- I have videos of how to do this if you haven't taken my other classes, but you will now create a new layer. This layer will be above your outline layer so you can freely paint over it. At this phase all you need to do is block in large areas with whatever color you want to dominate that area.

5. Details- This stage is where I pull it together. I study the photo closely to make sure I have the person's mannerisms and clothing correct. Please watch the video provided to learn tips on creating hair. In this last stage you should be adding highlights to areas you want to pop. A video of how I do this will be provided called "highlights".
