Simon Salamon




Simon Salamon joined King's College as Professor of Geometry in 2011. He held an analogous post at the Politecnico di Torino since 2000, and retains strong links with Italian universities. After completing a doctorate under Nigel Hitchin, he worked in Maryland, Pisa and Princeton, before taking up a lecturership at the University of Oxford in 1984. He was briefly a reader at Imperial College London, and is an emeritus fellow of Trinity College, Oxford.
