Understand how biological systems generate electrical signals, and how they can be recorded and induced with manufactured devices.
Rebecca is a doctoral candidate at the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University. She received her B.S. and M.S. degrees from Purdue University in biomedical engineering. Her research interests include active implantable sensors, analog circuit design, and biological signal processing. Her doctoral work involves the development of miniature, fully wireless bioelectric sensors and stimulators for chronic animal work that will further understanding of neuromuscular diseases and disorders.
