Kara Burrous

Kara Burrous teaches AP Biology at Stephen F. Austin High School in Fort Bend ISD near Houston. She began her teaching career at Marshall High School in East Texas as a Chemistry and AP Chemistry teacher before moving to the Houston area. She has taught all levels of Biology and Chemistry over the course of her career and has been the AP Biology teacher for AHS since 2008.
Kara received her BS in Biology from Stephen F. Austin State University and her MS in Science Education from Montana State University.
