Jason Hill

 

 


 

Jason Hill is an assistant professor in Bioproducts and Biosystems engineering. His research interests include the technological, environmental, economic and social aspects of sustainable bioenergy production from current and next-generation feedstocks. Hill's work on the life cycle impacts of transportation biofuels has been published in the journals Science and the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

This course explores the diversity of the foods we eat, the ways in which we grow, process, distribute, and prepare them, and the impacts they have upon our environment, health, and society. We will also examine the challenges and opportunities of creating a more sustainable global food system in the future.
