This course is for all K-12 teachers in all subjects looking to add effective speaking and listening lessons to their repertoire. Why? Because employers list effective verbal communication as one of the top skills desired in employees, yet almost no teacher preparation programs train educators in how to teach, assess, and provide feedback on speaking and listening skills; and few schools or districts ever offer workshops on the topics.
