Annie Kuo

Annie Camey Kuo is a researcher and instructor at the University of Washington, Tacoma, Education Program. A former secondary and adult ESOL teacher in Los Angeles, New York, and Seattle, Annie has also worked with pre- and in-service teachers and international school leaders in supporting culturally and linguistically diverse students. Her research interest centers around English learners and include positioning of ELs in mainstream classrooms, problem- and project-based learning, and culturally responsive teacher education.
