Adam Wickenheiser
Professor Adam Wickenheiser's Smart Systems Lab conducts research into the use of smart materials, adaptive structures, and intelligent control systems in aerospace and energy applications. Furthermore, much of our work is inspired by biological systems and behaviors. Current projects include designing biomimetic smart material feather modules for low-speed gust alleviation and maneuverability, harvesting energy from human and vehicle motion, and multivehicle formation flight in gusty conditions.
