Universiteplus is a massive open online course (MOOC) platform which aims to offer quality education from several universities across Turkey for not only Turkish but also English speaking communities. Our objective is to become a model for how we can scale learning in the Middle East.
Universiteplus, is determined to ensure that Turkey is at the forefront of educational innovation.The new MOOC platform will present Turkey with unique and vital opportunities that can be part of a necessary revolution in education and learning.
First, the platform will broadcast the best Turkish professors across Turkey, offering original Turkish courses - to further enrich education. All courses are delivered at no cost to the learner.
Second, Universiteplus aims that via the use of the platform Turkish role models can be showcased by broadcasting short online courses by practitioners and professionals from a variety of fields spanning the arts and sciences.
Finally, Universiteplus believes that the platform will enable Turkey to take advantage of the international interest in regional affairs to tell its own story to the world. Turkish university professors and regional experts can use the platform to give courses in English about their own fields of expertise. This will serve to inform a global audience.
