The Voices of Autism (Torrens University Australia)

The Voices of Autism (Torrens University Australia)
Torrens University aims to raise awareness of autism, an often misunderstood condition. ‘The Voices of Autism’ MOOC is a free online-course that runs from 30 April to 1 June, suitable for everyone interested in learning more about the day-to-day needs of a person with autism, and their family.

Voices of Autism MOOC is a completely free online course available to anyone who is interested in learning more about the day-to-day needs of a person with autism and their family.

The Education team have created this course to raise awareness of an often-misunderstood condition. We use a design-thinking framework to develop problem-solving skills for increased knowledge and understanding of autism. We believe that real inclusion in Education brings real change.

This 5 week course will require approximately 2 hours online, on-demand, per week. At the end of the 5 weeks you will receive a certificate of completion. For those wanting Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to credit further study in our autism courses, you will need to complete a final project and pay a fee of $75 for the academic certificate.

Register before 16 April.
