Cloud service vendors are commonly known these days as hyperscale providers (or simply hyperscalers). As the name implies, hyperscale computing is about massive scalability, and its providers offer the infrastructure, platform, and software, as well as private hosted cloud services. Hyperscalers are now the most obvious choice of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) for companies. The elasticity and cost outweigh running servers on-premise. SAP has recognized this and partnered with many hyperscale cloud providers to offer the best IaaS solutions to our customers.
In this course, you’ll learn the basics of what it takes to migrate or convert your SAP on-premise solutions to run on a hyperscaler platform.
The course provides an overview of the strategy for converting to SAP S/4HANA or migrating your SAP solutions which covers topics such as the conversion, testing, sizing strategies, and more.
It also shows you how SAP fits into a hyperscaler architecture, covering the infrastructure, security architecture, integration architecture, and monitoring of your SAP solutions.
Finally, you’ll get a high-level overview of the deployment and runtime stage. This includes some of the available migration and conversion tools, the personell required to run SAP systems on a hyperscaler, and other related topics.
