In this course, we apply principles of Street and Landscape photography to enable you mastering different photography types. By learning the technical aspects and techniques of Street and Landscape photography, you will be embarking on a journey to experiment and discover the kind of photographer you can be!

The purpose of this course is to build your confidence so you can go out and start shooting, by teaching you the basics of the types of photography you encounter in your everyday life. We will help you to master techniques, so you don’t have to think about them, and instead focus on composition, your creativity and photograph what you want and not just what is out there.

And because learning photography is better if you do it with others, please participate in our course project so we can all learn together.

In this course you will learn:

- The necessary technical skills and techniques needed for street and landscape photography, how to choose your Aperture, Shutter speed and ISO

- How to prepare for street and landscape photography when you are on location and what equipment you need

- The thinking process that will enable you to get into the scene and create more candid photography

- How to stop thinking about how to set up your camera and start focusing on your photography

- How to compose a great landscape shot

So whether you are a beginner or an experienced photographer, join me in this walk and let’s start learning together, I am very much looking forward to your comments, tips and experiences as well.

1. Pick either a Street or a Landscape theme and think of a general idea to photograph.

2. Select what time you will shoot, what gear you will need (you can only pick one lens).

3. Before going out, write down what your intent is, what do you expect shooting, why have you selected that particular type of photography? Go through the Street Photography - Thinking process and shooting chapter in our course if you need.

4. Go out and start shooting, show us your environment, your city, your friends.

5. Go through your pictures and select one. Take note of the settings you have used.

6. Did you accomplish what you wrote in step 3? Think about the story behind the photograph.

7. Upload the picture to the course’s gallery and tell us the story behind the picture you chose and what settings you used to shoot it.

8. If you decide to repeat the project, choose a different photography type each time.
