My goal is to get you learning-by-doing, showing you the (from my experience) most useful and most frequently used functionalities in Principle, through real-world examples like:
- App and Website Navigation
- Button States (active, inactive, loading, and success communication)
- Checkboxes & modal windows
- Easy and complex scrolling & timing effects
You do not need any pre-knowledge in Principle for this class. However, you do need proficiency in Sketch or Figma.
Project Description
To follow along, recreating the exact designs from each episode, download the exercise file (on the right -->) and let's go!
Once you've made it through the series, it's time to have some serious fun creating your custom Principle animation! Out-of-the-box interactions are awesome and encouraged for this project, but remember that usability comes first.
Try to include one or more functionalities you saw in the episodes, and share the outcome gif or video below!
We're thrilled to see your animations, and would love to hear feedback from you: Did you find this series useful? What do you love/ hate the most about designing in Principle? Drop us any question, too.
