How to Build Prototypes Using InVision (Skillshare)
In How to Build Prototypes Using InVision you will learn how to use inVision platform to create prototypes, for both, mobile and web. You’ll be able to create a prototype, add your design screens, add hotspots to your screens, add some fancy transitions between screens, create more complex interactions such as go to a new screen after 10s or go to an external link when clicking a button, how to gather feedback from your team and how to update your design screens directly from Sketch by making use of the Craft plugin.

Prior experience is not required to join the class, although some previous experience with a digital design tool is more than welcome.

As a class project, you will build an interactive prototype using inVision. You will decide your platform, which can be either desktop, mobile or tablet.

Later on, you will share your prototype with the rest of the students in order to get some feedback

All resources needed to build the prototype are free and available online.


If you know how to use Sketch or Photoshop...

- inVision: It’s an online platform to build interactive prototypes. You can create an account for free.

- Sketch or Photoshop: These are design tools to create your user interfaces. Both programs offer a free trial version.

- Now UI Kit: It’s a free multiplatform UI Kit designed by inVision. The file is available for Sketch and Photoshop.

- Craft: It’s a plugin created by inVision. It’s very common to send your artboards directly from Sketch and Photoshop to your inVision account. There are other amazing features that will be explained through the class.


If you don’t know how to use Sketch or Photoshop

- inVision: It’s an online platform to build interactive prototypes. You can create an account for free. The free plan offers 1 prototype for good.

- Download Design screens. You will see all ready-made design screens in .jpg and .png to build your prototype.
