Resilience is the ability to bounce back from adversity. It is not something all individuals are born with, however, the resilience skill set can be taught and the lessons learned can empower individuals to manage stress and learn to thrive.
Goal: To aid in the development of a skill set that allows individuals to thrive in any environment by overcoming adversity and managing stress
Objective: Deliver resiliency messages to students in a variety of formats
Learning Outcomes:
- Students will be able to define resilience, risk factors, and preventative factors.
- Students will be able to explain the benefits of resilience.
- Students will demonstrate the ability to utilize specific skills to optimize their well-being.
- Students will develop a resilience map to be utilized in college and life after college.
